But they still lost and he bears responsibility because he sucks and Memphis exploits this suckage.

I don't think Perkins is why they lost, even though he sucks.

I would agree with this. And move this to the correct thread!

But still, 16 minutes in game 1, OKC wins, 27 minutes in game 2, they lose. -8 +/-, worst on the team.

I don't know how NBA players, especially star players, fall off a cliff so fast. He was a pretty good player but the last couple of seasons he has hurt the team a lot more than he has helped.

The Blazers are fun to watch. They have a bright future..

The Rockets, poorly coached and their 2 stars disappear again

Another example of how OKC had to keep Harden.

I think they should have. He didn't have to be the primary option like he has to be in Houston, hell of a third wheel. Still consider it an awful trade that was made primarily for non-basketball related reasons.

Some pretty good play in the playoffs. Some really crappy coaching. Both the WC games were ugly because of bad coaching. Only OKC in a loss, was coached well

OKC economics aren't Miami or LA economics.

I agree. But no pretending the trade wasn't awful from a basketball perspective. How far apart were they though? I don't recall exactly, but my recollection was that it wasn't very material.
