That's pretty funny. We went through the Kaeding misses, so it's easy to relate to that guy's elation to crushing defeat.

That's like the opposite of me. I'd been helping the boy scouts collect Xmas trees all afternoon and had just gotten home. I didn't realize the game was on tv yet. (They had switched from the Denver game). So I was still following the espn game cast and texting my mom and brother in law all on my phone. As they were getting ready to Kick, I said out loud, "I can't effing believe we're going to blow this game to a bunch of effing backups". Then walked.into my dark bedroom to sulk. I sat watching my phone waiting for the news.

Then my mom texted with just "missed". I'm like, what the f does that mean? Missed what, who missed. Old lady has lost it. Then my bro in law texted with something like.. "yeeeeeeeah ahahahahaha" the game cast hasn't changed, so I'm like did he miss it? Did he miss it. Then I start yelling at my phone.. UPDATE DAMMIT. Finally, it does a weird update with the time but not the score, about a minute later, it finally says missed field goal. I run into the living room jumping up and down screaming.. HE MISSED IT HE MISSED.. WE'RE STILL ALIVE. GOING TO OVERTIME I CAN'T BELIEVE IT.. HE MISSED...

Then my phone went crazy with texts and that's when I realized the game might be on tv now... and I got to watch overtime.

I got so damn pissed off I grabbed my bar tab and started adding up the tip instead of watching the kick, and then the bar around me erupted and went ballistic... Good moment. Then I ripped up the bill and ordered shots!
