Has anyone watched the show Dig on USA network yet? I've been wanting to check this out solely for the reason it has Jason Isaacs. I've been a fan of his ever since Event Horizon, then Soldier, The Patriot, and a very decent BBC import Masterpiece Mystery mini-series on PBS called Case Histories.

If they had episode 01 available On Demand in HD, I blinked and missed it. It's available in SD, and I don't know if I should watch it in shrunken letterbox or wait for them to add it in HD again. Today looks so boring I might just go ahead and check it out.

Yeah, I started watching "Dig". I liked the first episode and then I saw things in later episodes that made me go WTF. I think if you're religious at all you may enjoy this show. But I lost interest as the series went on and saw what general direction it was going. I was hyped up on this at the beginning so maybe my expectations were too high.

Usually I don't even start watching shows that feature people with super-powers but there wasn't much else to tune into last night so I gave it a try. I like the fact they say fuck a lot.

I'm a devout A-gnostic and I'm enjoying this show. I don't love when shows start throwing in the hoodoo stuff (example: Vikings), but I'm enjoying Dig so far. I'm about to start the last 2 week's eps, so check back for a possibly different opinion. Gawd knows Vikings has pissed me off enough this season, I could come back and say Dig is worthless trash.

I found out this is apparently a 10-week mini-series, so I'm hoping we get closure and awesomeness in general *knock-wood* .

Yes, that sucked BIG TIME. I don't like the strict adherence to ancient (possibly apocryphal) dogma of religions founded by people we would consider barbarians,

I don't see it filling a "modern" show with supernatural B.S.

All that stuff was human beings interpreting ancient texts. Maybe I'm missing something, but so far, all it has been is stuff that could be explained. This isn't Joan of Arcadia for crap's sake.

Vikings Episode 08: To the Gates!

Ugh, I can't believe I need to wait another week to judge this ep. In a week I may be pissed or rocked, I just don't know.

This ep was frakking amazing, though.

There was a lot of CGI, but the battle sequence (45 minutes!) was the most elaborate I've seen on a TV show. I don't know if 'agenda' is a word that fits in the Viking vocabulary.
