    Former Chargers WR Vincent Jackson Calls it a Career

    Jackson made the call to officially hang them up on Friday. Former Chargers wide receiver Vincent Jackson is calling it a career after 12 seasons in the NFL.
    Jackson, a second-round pick by the Chargers in the 2005 NFL Draft, spent seven seasons with the Bolts where he was a two-time Pro Bowl selection that was known for his long-ball prowess and his knack for coming down with the contested catch. He spent the last five years of his career as a member of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers where was voted to the Pro Bowl for the final time following the 2012 season. On his career, Jackson amassed 540 catches for 9,080 yards and 54 touchdowns.
    As a Charger, Jackson collected 272 catches for 4,754 yards and 37 touchdowns. He finished ninth in team history for receiving yards while finishing tied for seventh on the team’s career touchdowns list with Anthony Miller.
