Some new faces will be featured as the Chargers kick off their season today Some news was dropped about an hour before the Chargers kick off their 2018 campaign regarding the starters on the defensive side of the ball... We knew that Joey Bosa would be out today, and if you were paying attention during the offseason and training camp practices you won’t be surprised to see that Isaac Rochell has been pegged as the starter in the interim. Rochell came in to camp this year notably in better shape and his play has reflected that, with a burst we hadn’t seen last season as well as some additional pass rush ability that I personally didn’t think he was capable of. He was impressive in preseason action, here’s hoping that can transition in to results today and for as long as Bosa is ailing with the foot injury.
