The foot injury that kept Pro Bowl defensive end Joey Bosa out of the Los Angeles’ season opener last week is now expected to be a multi-week injury.Bosa met with a foot specialist in Green Bay on Wednesday, at which point nothing further was decided. That’s not great news right there. Short of the Chargers and their medical staff being able to figure out what is exactly ailing Bosa, it’s highly unlikely he’ll return to the field. The good news? As NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport notes, Bosa is not currently a candidate for injured reserve. He remains week-to-week.The Chargers missed Bosa big time last week in a 38-28 season-opening loss to Kansas City. Young Chiefs starter Patrick Mahomes was sacked just one time on 33 dropbacks. That won’t cut it moving forward.Though, a matchup against Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills this week will likely act like a nice bit of tonic for Bosa’s squad. That’s positive news.
