Chargers, Woodhead agree to 2-year extension (The Associated Press)

The San Diego Chargers agreed to a two-year contract extension with running back Danny Woodhead. Woodhead signed a two-year contract when he joined the Chargers as an unrestricted free agent from New England in March 2013. ''Danny is an integral part of our offense,'' general manager Tom Telesco said. We look forward to having him be a part of the Chargers organization into the future.'' Woodhead is coming off a career year.
