    Two Florida football players cited for possession of marijuana

    The Florida Gators may be even more short-handed in their season opener against Michigan early next month. According to First Coast News, two Florida players have been cited for possession of marijuana.
    “Two University of Florida football players, one of whom was already suspended for the team’s opener against Michigan, were cited this week for having marijuana in their on-campus apartment,” the report read. “Ventrell Miller and James Robinson were charged with misdemeanor possession of marijuana on Monday.”
    Remember, Miller was one of seven Gators players suspended for the season opener due to a debit card scandal earlier in the year. Miller is a freshman three-star recruit and was expected to pretty much ride the pine in 2017. Though, the linebacker does project as a contributor down the road.
    Meanwhile, James Robinson is the bigger name involved in this latest incident. The freshman wide receiver was likely going to be relied on to contribute against Michigan with fellow pass catcher Antonio Call
