    Michigan State Football: Bowling Green State preview

    Michigan State opens its 2017 football campaign Saturday against MAC opponent Bowling Green State. Kick-off is scheduled for noon from Spartan Stadium in East Lansing. Both teams did not have the season they were looking for last season, and the Falcons will be looking to travel to MSU and play spoiler.
    The Falcons are entering year two under head coach Mike Jinks, who came to BGSU from Kliff Kingsbury’s staff at Texas Tech. The Red Raiders are famous for their high flying, up-tempo offense and the Falcons are no different under Jinks. The Jinks era last year began with the Falcons going 1-8 to start last season, but they finished strong winning their final three in a row.
    BGSU won their last three games last season due to a good rushing attack. They had three players eclipse 100 carries last year, and two of them return. That attack will be headlined by senior running back Josh Cleveland, a guy BGSU expects big things from after averaging 6.4 yards per carry over 101 carries last year. Donovan Wilson will
