    Malik Rosier’s starting QB job could be in jeopardy

    Malik Rosier’s role as the starting quarterback of Miami could be in jeopardy following the team’s Week 1 loss to LSU.The Hurricanes were defeated by the Tigers on Sunday 33-17 in the season opener for both teams. During the game, Rosier completed just 15-of-35 passes for 259 yards with one touchdown and two interceptions. It was the third game in row, dating back to last season, in which Rosier struggled.On Tuesday, Rosier wasn’t the only quarterback to receive reps with the first team offense. Redshirt freshmen N’Kosi Perry and Cade Weldon also worked with the first string. According to offensive coordinator Thomas Brown, Miami wants to have competition at all positions, not just quarterback.“I think we definitely need more competition when it comes to that,” Brown said, via 247 Sports. “Not just with him, everywhere.
