Kyler Murray has chosen not to completely shut the door on a potential NFL career when discussing his future recently, and the Oklahoma star is projected to be drafted even higher now if he decides to play football. On Wednesday, Oregon quarterback Justin Herbert announced that he will be returning to school for his senior season. He was projected by many to be the first QB taken in the draft, which means Murray has probably moved even further up the board for teams who have a need at the position. One source told ESPN’s Mike Sando that Murray is generating “a lot of buzz” at the NFL level and would likely be drafted in the first two rounds. Murray’s baseball agent Scott Boras insists his client has given no consideration to playing in the NFL and will report to the Oakland A’s, who drafted him No. 9 overall back in June.
