It’s National Signing Day, and Auburn would like to report a case of larceny as 5-star receiver George Pickens has flipped to Georgia. Keith Niebuhr of 247Sports passed along this shocking news on Wednesday morning. Pickens is the No. 4 receiver in this year’s recruiting class, per 247Sports, and the No. 1 recruit in Alabama. So, both in terms of stealing a big fish away from an SEC rival’s home state and just simply landing an elite player, Kirby Smart and the Dawgs have to be grinning from ear to ear. Last season as a senior at Hoover High School he caught 72 passes for 1,387 yards and 15 touchdowns.
