Oklahoma wide receiver Marquise Brown, a projected first-round draft pick, will not get the chance to prove himself at pre-draft workouts. According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Brown had surgery to correct a Lisfranc problem last month, and will not participate in the NFL Combine or Pro Day. He is, however, expected to be ready for summer camp. Brown was hurt in the Big 12 Championship and played through the injury in the College Football Playoff semifinal, but clearly wasn’t himself. It doesn’t appear as if the issue will significantly impact his draft stock.
