The 3-star RB had not signed a National Letter of Intent with any school yet. Traditionally, the recruiting period for a cycle tends to end with National Signing Day in February, but that does not mean that the UCLA Bruins had to stop at that point. Case in point, yesterday, running back Christian Grubb announced that he had officially signed with the Bruins. Christian Grubb was rated as a 3-star running back by 247Sports. The 5’11”, 175 pound running back played football at Notre Dame High School in Sherman Oaks, California, and was all set to walk-on at Arizona State before the Bruins extended a scholarship offer. This past season, Grubb had a solid outing, putting up 1,306 yards and 18 touchdowns on the ground to go along with 11 catches for 295 yards and five touchdowns. Grubb also handled kick return duties, where he chipped in two more touchdowns.
