75 days until Georgia football - Remembering the career of No. 75...OL Kolton Houston

75 days left until the return of Georgia football. Let’s take a look back at No. 75 Kolton Houston, a Georgia offensive line who had a long, interesting career in Athens. Houston came to Georgia in 2010 as a four-star offensive tackle out of Buford. However, it was not until 2013 that Houston played his first game in red and black. He was ineligible for his first three football seasons due to a mistaken injection by a doctor of a banned steroid meant to heal a surgically-repaired shoulder. The injection led to a failed drug test and kept him out of games for three seasons. Houston’s case was one that many Georgia fans point back to when talking about the NCAA’s unfair rulings on player eligibility. Things have only gotten worse for the NCAA since then. In 2017, the NCAA prevented Central Florida kicker Donald De La Haye from making money off his YouTube channel. Houston spoke up on Twitter after the ruling was announced.
