    UGA OL outlook for 2019 season

    Sam Pittman and the Georgia Bulldogs return one of college football’s best offensive lines in 2019, if not the best. Versatility, depth and size are some of the key components that make up the unit heading into next season, and they are a big reason why Georgia is projected to make another run at the College Football Playoff. There will be some familiar faces who will certainly be starting come August, but there are also a few slots up for grabs. Let’s take a look at our projected depth chart on the o-line. Left tackle: Andrew Thomas (6’5″ 320 lbs.) Georgia returns all-American left tackle Andrew Thomas for his junior season, who will be the anchor and leader of the line. If Thomas leaves Athens following this season, expect him to do so with high first round hopes heading into the NFL Draft. Thomas played right tackle his freshman season at Georgia and on the left side last year. It’s always good to know that if he is ever needed at right tackle, it would be a smooth transition.
