Remember when your parents used to tempt with you with a trip to the ice cream shop only to pull the rug out from underneath you when the car rolled up to the dentist office for a surprise root canal? That's how a lot of college football fans felt about their schools' seasons last year. If you had decent parents, they took you to the ice cream shop eventually. Same goes for college football, which is filled with teams ready to wash off the stink of last season's failures and bring excitement to their fans. Yet only a few have the talent to make it happen. Here are 10 teams ready to deliver the ice cream to their respective fan bases. Nebraska Cornhuskers Head coach Scott Frost went to Lincoln with a lot of hype, but that didn’t translate into a lot of wins in 2018. The Cornhuskers finished with only four victories, but his impact on the offense was almost immediate.
