The contemplative words of Mike Leach as he considers which Pac-12 mascot would win a battle should forever be treasured in our nation’s archives. Check out the always opinionated coach giving his thoughts on what traits each mascot brings to the table. It’s all pure gold, but this is the thing that had me rolling, regarding Stanford: “That tree is going to get chopped down, unless we’re going to go with the bird and somebody might get pecked or Something. I don’t know.” This is almost as good as that one time Leach described his venture into the snow to check out a racoon. Almost.
