Oklahoma sophomore Brendan Radley-Hiles was ejected from Saturday’s College Football Playoff game against LSU for targeting. The Tigers had a 3rd-and-10 at their 20 early in the second quarter and Joe Burrow tried to scramble for a first down. Burrow was able to make it, in part because Radley-Hiles decided to slam into Clyde Edwards-Helaire rather than go for Burrow. Radley-Hiles nailed Edwards-Helaire with a blindside hit to the head. The play was reviewed for targeting, and the refs determined Radley-Hiles should be ejected for his hit. He was sent off in the second quarter, while LSU received 15 yards for the penalty. Woodi Washington entered the game for Oklahoma on the following play and was quickly beaten for a touchdown to make it 28-7.
