For a team that just won the World Series, the Los Angeles Dodgers are not resting on their laurels. They have already inked two-time Cy Young Award winner to a Los Angeles also World Series hero . He became one of the most highly sought-after relievers in July. What Scott Would Mean to the Dodgers The Los Angeles bullpen has already shown itself to be effective. It carried the Dodgers to a World Series win, as each member of the Opening Day starting rotation spent time on the injured list this season. With the addition of Scott, barring injury, they could be dominant. Left-handers and can be effective in high-leverage situations by themselves. Scott would give manager added versatility and flexibility against even the best lineups in baseball. If the starters can stay healthy pitching into the fifth or sixth inning, and the lineup scores runs, the game could be over as early as the seventh inning.
