          5-Rounder for 2022.

This year my money is on WR Jameson Williams and George Karlaftis III. Karlaftis PLAYS like an ungodly skilled water polo player, wrecking the opponents defense.

His little brother Yanni Karlaftis, he's better and he committed to Purdue as well. George's father raised him to play water polo and he played on the national water polo team. After his father died, he left water polo and his mother took him and his brother to her hometown and the brothers adopted football.

Water Polo players are the greatest athletes on earth. George, having been a goalie, should bat a lot of passes. He also trains MMA to improve his hand fighting. He’ll be a stud.

                I forgot.

Also, look for Herbo’s flow to surpass Yanni’s over the next year. The kid’s potential is not limited to football.

                The real question is this:
Can Herbert also equal Yanni’s mustache? Might take a few years, IMO.

I love trying out mock drafts. I’ll give it a go. This one will have the Chargers trading back into the 2nd and getting an extra 3rd. This draft is also hopes of grabbing and resigning DTs, DBs and Oline in free agency.

                    2nd rd- RB Breece Hall
                    2nd rd- OT Abraham Lucas
                    3rd rd- CB Coby Bryant
                    3rd rd- ILB Chad Muma
                    4th rd- DT Tyler Davis
                    5th rd- OG Logan Bruss
                    6th rd- S Smoke Monday
                    6th rd- OT/OG Blaise Andries
                    6th rd- WR Erik Ezukanma
6th rd- OLB/DE Brenton Cox Jr.
                    7th rd- S Reed Blankenship
                    7th rd- RB Quay Holmes

5-rd mock of the day, I project it on resigning Chris Harris and signing UFA DB Bryce Callahan from Denver, kicking the pressing need for CB to Day Three. Also the development of Pipkens at RT, which I think bears close watching.

When you add in UFA DT Akiem Hicks to the rotation (letting Linval Joseph walk) this has the makings for the best front seven in football. John Ridgeway is an Igor Olshansky-sized DT from Arkansas. Jermaine Johnson and Cam Thomas both rush the passer with the intensity of certified mad-men.

Scouts once said DT Ray Childress was a rolling ball of butcher blades. These two are close.

1:45 J. Ridgeway lines up at 0 technique over the center, the center slips him to seal the back-side DE and the LG gets to Ridgeway on a reach block. Then, Big John stacks-and-sheds him with ridiculous ease and destroys the play in back-side pursuit. ****, that's good. His stack and shed technique is epic.
