Yep...the big question is, how many from that group will get picked from about #25 up until #47...I'm thinking if the Bolts have a certain player from that group highly rated, and ESPECIALLY, if they didn't pick O-line @#13, it might make sense to trade up...normally I don't like trade ups, but with two 3rd rounders this year, I'm okay with packaging one of those picks with our 2nd rounder to grab the O-lineman we really want...before he's gone...

I’m more in favor of trading down in this year’s draft. We need players to fill roster spots and this is an exceptionally deep and talented draft. AND it so happens that our PONs (OL, CB, EDGE, WR) are the deepest out of all the positions.

It’ll be interesting to see how quickly the OTs get drafted. There’s a lotta teams that need one but there’s a lotta depth in the draft too.
Our quarterback is a golden god.

Ok, i fucked up my pretty table on page 3. Watching some more tape and a handful of The pre pro day results i have altered some rankings and will keep doing it but i messed up the table and cant fix the colors without doing a HTML fix which dont show up on edits. I have to quote myself to do it lol.

It took me a while to figure out how to fix it doing HTML so just because i didnt want it to look funky, i had to move it here to page 5.

I know nobody cares except me but it didnt look right and im anal that way.

Glad to see someone else is high on Azeri Ojulari, only player I’ve seen in awhile who reminds me of Devon White. Very thick yet quick twitch with surprising ability to cover in space. Pick up FA Lavonte David off Tampa, would make Chargers formidable immediately.

Looks like Cosmi, Darrisaw and AVG could be targets if Telesco traded down for more picks or player trade (Orlando Brown).

Top corners, Surtain, Farley off the board.

Excellent work and reference quite going forward into the draft :anchorjump:

I like CJ Verdell and would rank him higher. But he decided to go back for 2021.

Also, I factor in injury history and then what role they will play as well as versatility.

So Harris ranks higher for me

D.Smith is a little light. But he 6'1 and has easy speed and play much tougher and bigger than his weight would indicate, so I have him much higher.

Who has it better than us?

Slim shady is either Marvin Harrison or out of the league by year 4-5.

Verdell? Over who? If you mean Harris or Javonte I big time disagree.

Why can he just be D.Smith? And have his own career.

D.Jackson 175lb and had played for 13 seasons with 154 starts.

Benjamin 175lb who isn't even close in talent to D.Smith played in the league for 8 seasons.

Emanuel Sanders 180lb has played 12 season with 109 starts.

I guess you think he will be like former Charger player Eric Parker 6'0 180lb who played 5 season.

Smith is a 1st rd talent.
If he stays healthy there is no reason he cannot play 12 seasons.

Move him up your board to Chargers spot #47.

No. I was pointing out I would have him higher on Ninja board. He put him at #151. But he isn't in the draft. He went back to school. I'm putting him top 100 somewhere.

He is a non draftable player until day 3 as a risk/reward prospect. If he weighs under 170# and under 6’, which I think he will, he just doesn’t have the physical makeup to play for me. He plays for the most talented team in college football and is never covered. He is going to get the shit knocked out of him by just NFL press coverage alone.
He’ll have his own career just not a good one so makes since that we’d draft him @#13.

Smith destroyed man coverage. Anytime the DB line up to possibly press him they either failed to get hands on him or just didn't even try for fear of getting beat. And there are many ways to help get him space at the line of scrimmage from stacks to motion.,etc.

"This guy is a very, very good player," Brian Flores said of Smith after Tuesday's practice. "If you’re a good player, you can nitpick all you want about a guy's size. A good player is a good player is a good player. He made big plays in the biggest games of the year."

The NFL DB better win immediately when they press him at line or they will get roasted. Smith is so quick with such easy speed, and fantastic release, great hands, and tracks and high point ball. The only knock on him is that he is slim.

The Slim Reaper is a baller.
How many DBs at NFL level will actually press him and do it effectively when in SEC the DBs simply wouldn't or couldn't do it to him.

                        1at rd grade from me.

One of us will eat crow here and it could be me.

That was college. He wont have it so easy in the NFL. They will try to knock him off his routes with his stature til he shows he can adjust.

I mention this often about prospects and ive only heard one guy mention this, and it was just recently........These top players in college the majority of the time are playing against guys that wont ever be on a NFL roster.

Chris Simms said that yesterday and i was like ....FINALLY.....someone says it.

There are like 110 Div I schools alone...not counting the other Divs and only 255 players will get drafted and then you have the UDFAs where only a handfull make a roster and less than that turn out like Ekeler and Gates. We have been very good doing that with those guys.

Davonta Smith is a talent but he is very slight framed and isnt strong. Sure DeSean Jackson has played 12 years and bounced around in doing so and had some injuries as expected but he also didnt go in the first round. He was the highest drafted of the guys you mentioned as a second rounder. The one that did go top 10 with that stature has been a bust (Austin)

I dont want to bet against DS but i sure dont want to use a top 15 pick on him either to find out. Ninja has a point. He didnt want to get weighed at the senior bowl and he just may come in under 170. Thats my concern with him. Too many question marks heading into the NFL.
