With Staley's scheme sometimes calling for 3 safeties, and injuries, Etc, there's a need. I think Nas has great potential, and hopefully with a scheme change and better coaching he will realize it, but we still need more. Not seeing much in FA... just wondering what were some of y'alls thoughts on how we address this?

There’s a bunch of good ones this year that could work.
I was really impressed with Tanaloa Hufanga this year. He made improvements in his coverage abilities from 2019-2020, which were my main concerns. He’s a sure tackler, instinctive in space, a great blitzer, and plays like his hair’s on fire on every down.
The ideal ‘all purpose DB’ is Elijah Molden. He’s that positionless kind of player that Staley covets—a hyper intelligent, student of the game, QB of the defense type of guy. Excels in the slot/box, kinda like Troy Hill—a little bit safety, a little slot, a little dime-backer. Molden’s not a center fielder (that’s Adderley’s role), he’s a guy you want closer to the LOS.Our quarterback is a golden god.

But so is Samuel.
And you know who.We do not play modern football.

Nas needs to be playing in space (highest among the safeties), a place where he’s closing down receiving windows, but not being asked to do too much in run support.
Derwin can do it all.
The third guy would need to play lower—around the box, able to blitz, run support, and keeping an eye on RB check downs in the flats. Kinda like a wing to the OLB. This guy needs to have short area quickness, off the line coverage skills (slants & flats), and surefire tackling abilities. That’s why I love Hufanga and especially Molden in that role. Our quarterback is a golden god.

I don't have a favorite college team and just watch the best match-up on TV at the time lol..... When I watch it.
The tape I did see of him, he was in the slot and everything I've read says he pretty much played in the slot.
I don't care where the player we draft comes from, just want the best we can get so I won't favor someone from say USC over a kid from Georgia or Wisconsin because he is a Pac 12 player.
Syracuse had a good secondary, Pittsburgh had a good DL, Notre Dame had a good OL so plenty of tape to look at there.11 Brock Bowers TE - Georgia
