I spent hour after hour,
like an obssessed mental patient,
just like every other year...
studying these prospects.

Not within a country mile.

Watching a ton of ACC football and can’t believe that Khalil Herbert and Paris Ford are still out there. Maybe teams are put off by Herberts 6 toes on left foot.

Ford had a horrible pro day. He ran a 4.90 40 and posted a 7.65 3 cone drill to go along with a 29" vertical leap and a 9' 2" broad jump. There are linemen that did better than all of that.

New ST coach and resources dedicated to ST players in FA and the draft makes me optimistic.

He is okay, but lacks top end speed. Also, he is not that big (211 pounds). I do not not see a great translation to the NFL where his lack of speed will be exposed and his size will not play as well.

If anyone thinks he is somehow a big pile mover, I think any such person is mistaken. He is basically LT's size only without the speed, vision or cutting ability, but a player that does run hard (some have said out of control). He is a Joshua Kelley clone in terms of size only not quite as fast.

And zero patience to find the hole.

Rountree was very productive in college. He knows how to run the ball effectively so he has a chance.

I liked his tape. Everything is there. Rare balance? No. But he looks like a gamer.
