Eric Stokes went higher than I had hoped for.
Josh Myers went higher than alot were expecting, and ahead of Creed Humphrey.
Trey Sermon went a bit early, @least from what I could surmise.
Ambry Thomas really climbed the board, and wonder how he is doing ??
Tyler Shelvin came off the board after both Rumph and McKitty.
Josh Ball too, albeit he had some pretty severe risk associated w/him.
Daviyon Nixon went one pick before Jaimes.
Nate Hobbs came off the board a bit early based on most boards.
Hamsah Nasirildeen went just after Niemann.
Deonte Brown and Trey Smith went after Nick as well.
Kylin HIll went way late as well.

like Mark Webb some, but Hill has purportedly been doing very well in preseason.
selecting Rountree instead/ahead of Trey Smith is sorta like putting the cart before the horse, me thinx.
and not in a hundred years would I have picked Niemann ahead of Hamsah.
and liked Jaimes a bit, but no way do I select him ahead of Smith.
am wary of Rumph, and that despite his solid preseason, but the all of Ball, Nixon and Shelvin, all had varying degrees of risk associated w/them.
didn't know about McKitty coming out, so woulda taken Ambry, or better yet, Trey or Hamsah there.
and did like Sermon and Diablo some, but Palmer is looking like the third round value @wideout that is oft found day two there.
and Samuel looks like the real deal, but don't like the longterm prognosis for Linsley, hence my interest in Josh Myers.... Rondale Moore could turn into a hellah player as well.
and hard to argue w/Slater, but did like me some Zaven, and as am not overly sold on the longterm viability for us @LB.

biggest risk/best value if he continues as such, is Walker Little.... for me he was Tilleryesque/like in terms of risk.... just too uneven and w/mixed reviews.... props to Ninj and anyone else who was raising his flag.

RT Taliese Fuaga, DT Jer'Zhan Newton, NT T'Vondre Sweat, LB Cedric Gray, TE Ben Sinnott, RB Daijun Edwards, FS Cole Bishop, QB Joe Milton

It’s looking like the Cardinals did an excellent job drafting. Out of 5 total picks they landed 3 quality starters in Collins, Moore, and Wilson.

Agreed 100. They look like darkhorse SuperBowl threat.

Possibly. The NFCW will be a trial by fire. Just watched the Cards vs. Titans game last night and it wasn’t even close. And it was in Nashville, too.

Everyone thinks about Kyler Murray and the offense, but it was the defense that impressed me. They shut down Derrick Henry early and started headhunting with the pass rush and secondary.

ILBs are beyond solid with Zaven and Isaiah.
Chandler Jones was on fire. JJ Watt looked solid.
Marco Wilson and Byron Jones make a great duo. Wilson is better than expected and can hit.
              Then there’s Budda Baker.
Our quarterback is a golden god.

At the time of this post, Zach Wilson has thrown 2 passes, both ints…against the Pats. Go figure. Bill Belichick tormenting another rookie QB.

It’s the beginning of the end for Zach.

edit: now 2 for 5 with 3 ints.

edit: now 4 for 10 with 4 ints.

                ouch

I'm okay with Palmer and I think he'll be a good pro but Spencer Brown was my guy at 77 for the whole draft process. And he'd look good on this team right now.

His partner in crime is a draft crush in 2022 for me.
                      Miss on 1 snag another.
The Trevor Penning bandwagon is just beginning it’s roll west.

I really thought Wilson might be half decent when he came out, had some good tools to work with. Pretty bad to start his career no doubt but doesn't help that he really overall has no offensive weapons at all. Look at how well Darnold is performing after leaving them, landing in Carolina, and actually has some firepower around him.

I liked Brown a lot, too. Man, imagine if we got Brown at 77, then still landed Palmer at 97.

But the past is the past.

Ninja has me on the Trevor Penning wagon now. I like what I’ve seen so far and I’m looking forward to his Senior Bowl performance.

I’m convinced that RT should be our R1 pick, even before DT. As fans, I think we’re overreacting a little about our run D for three reasons:

                          1. No Justin Jones.

                          2. Inflated opponents’ running numbers due to Staley inviting the run.

                          3. Unreal expectations due to Staley’s run D with the Rams. We don’t have Aaron Donald, and we won’t draft the next Aaron Donald. He’s not out there.
Our quarterback is a golden god.
