Clemens has 21 starts in the NFL, Barkley has had 6 and Clemens has a higher career rating. If we have to go more than a few games with either we are screwed but Clemens at least won't be a deer in the headlights with 11 years of experience. We need to keep Rivers healthy and ride him till he is done

And Barkley is already better and at least has a higher ceiling. In 11 years Clemens is a scrub with more starts and experience. Thanks for making my point.
Barkley is the type of QB some here are talking about drafting. A mid to lower round pick to develope but not really a starter but he has some experience already . And had some decent games last year. And i agree, we are screwed if Rivers goes down but Clemens imo gives us NO chance at all.
No lower round pick QB in this class will develope.into.a starter worth a shit.
