Now, if you excuse me, I have some Charger memories to suppress.

Ridiculous.....but then again I don’t think the Packers thought Rodgers would fall to #24. ; )

The year Rogers was in the draft there werent many teams with QB needs at the top and why he fell. It wasnt because they didnt think he wasnt good. Had SF picked Rogers instead of Smith, Smith would have fell like that. This year there are a lot of teams that need QBs. In anycase, ill be upset if we pick a QB at #17.

Up to the draft, I try and familiarize myself with all these guys doing these mocks, while checking out the players and evaluations. I have a lot of work to do on this, but here's my first one and I'll see how everything changes by the time the draft rolls around:

don't know much 'bout Ed Alexander, albeit save for him looks like it could be a pretty productive draft....

So I had a go on the mock simulator on the draft network. Quite fun doing 7 rounds!

Here was my first go (never going to happen):

#28 Dwayne Haskins, QB, Ohio State
          #60 Dexter Lawrence, DL, Clemson
#91 Connor McGovern, OG, Penn State
          #130 Bobby Evans, OT, Oklahoma
          #166 Tre Watson, LB, Maryland
          #200 Austin Bryant, EDGE, Clemson
          #242 Mark Fields, CB, Clemson

          My more realistic second attempt:

#28 Erik McCoy, OL, Texas A&M
          #60 Trayvon Mullen, CB, Clemson
#91 Dre'Mont Jones, DL, Ohio State
          #130 Bobby Evans, OT, Oklahoma
          #166 Sheldrick Redwine, S, Miami
          #200 Austin Bryant, EDGE, Clemson
          #242 Tre Lamar, LB, Clemson

          My third attempt:

          #28 Mack Wilson, LB, Alabama
          #60 Dru Samia, OG, Oklahoma
#91 Tytus Howard, OT, Alabama State
          #130 Joe Jackson, EDGE, Miami
          #166 Sheldrick Redwine, S, Miami
          #200 Austin Bryant, EDGE, Clemson
          #242 Armon Watts, DL, Arkansas

I dig that draft Boltnut but would like to see one more o lineman snuck in there somewhere in the second half.Really like Cashman as a late round gem.

I'm not ready to give up on our guards, yet. The linebacking class is really deep this year. With Perryman re-signed, I think we can find a good backup LB later in the draft.

Fanspeak wedsite simulator. They have several sites you can choose to use rankings before you draft. This one was CBS. Second one was Fanspeaks which I thought was very different. Don't know what powder blues uses since I can't see it from my tablet.
