    A trade I would consider.

    Just thinking that I would not want to trade out of 17 because I'm not a fan of moving down to get the guy you want. I'm more a believer in moving up to get your player. The the back of my head said wait a minute... I recalled the Patriots trade. If they are hot for a QB and wanted to move up to 17 to get one, I would consider it depending on how the draft unfolds. The reason is to stockpile picks for next year as we should start building a war chest to get Rivers replacement and assuming we win nine or more games this year we will need some scratch to move up.

    Thoughts?

          Screw stockpiling picks for next year - the Pats have 2 first (23rd and 31st) and 2 second (11th and 31st) and a third round (31st) pick this year. Let them pay to move up and we can add young depth this year.

            I'm not opposed to moving back if Hurst is going to be available later in 1st, which it appears he is.

                  If you believe in the draft value chart, their 3rd round is not enough to swap first round picks - they'd have to pony up more.
