Thomas Davis should be able to pass on a thing or 2 about recovering from and training after multiple ACL tears. Not ideal, but guys do work through these things to be productive.

No doubt. With the numbers he was able to put up at the combine, he's doing something right.

The ACL tears vary so much as the amount of damage, how hard they work in recovery, how skilled the surgeon was, etc. all factor in. The fact he came back and put up those combine numbers on his repaired knees is mind blowing and he clearly is recovered. How long will it hold up and was it bad luck or is he injury prone are the obvious concerns.

Tranquill is a good bet based on his obvious level of recovery & work ethic. He appears to be obsessively dedicated to building & maintaining the meat machine he puts on the field.

If the gamble pays off im happy. Im hust not a fan of drafting players with injury history. That was the main reason i didnt want verrett back in the draft, plus he was undersized it was a injury waiting to happen. But thats just how i look at it. Some injuries im cool with. But knee and back injuries will almost always make me take the player off my board

Its also how the Chargers were able to draft Keenan Allen in the 3rd round. The whole thing is a crap shoot.

Been reading about this kid's recovery program he adhears to. Looks like he could show Davis a few things.
