Next Monday morning TT will reveal the top of his draft board, and surprise, we got his #1 rated player in the draft. Wow, we score again.

probably... but I will say this - based on draft rankings of people like McShay, Jeremiah, etc - Tua at 7 and Herbert in the teens makes sense if Telesco has them ranked there.

And also based on that - taking Herbert at 6 would be a mistake to me. Taking Tua at 6 if Simmons is on the board - is a mistake. Taking Tua at 6 if its between he and Jeudy, I am okay with that but would also be okay if Jeudy were the pick if he truly is your 5th ranked player and the highest ranked player left.

Simmons is the best value pick at #6

He certainly is. If he is there at 6, its a no brainer And if thats the case that he is gone- I would probably be more okay with moving back down - maybe to Cleveland at 10 (they may want OT) and Jags (who knows - maybe Derrick Brown)

True -- if Simmons is gone - really open to whatever. Would probably lean towards OT at that point - Wirfs.

I don't see someone trading up for Simmons. As a new, Derwin James type player, his value is more a projection that a player in a traditional role.

I think the Chargers could trade back to say the Falcons and still get Herbert looking . I just don't see a team trading up for him. Now Tua - that might be different story.

Teams have traded up for far worse than Herbert( Leaf anyone?) so don't be surprised if some GM dives in to the top 5 to grab him.
Kind of hope it does happen.
