Keep Okung. He's overpriced... but he's the best we got... when he's healthy.
Draft a 1st round OT. Looks like Wirf is a guy everyone can agree upon.
Rivers and his contract might be out the door. Take that money and sign a RT, DT, and an OG.

    1. OT Wirf
    2. BPA: OC Creed Humphrey, QB Jacob Eason, QB Jordan Love, DT Marvin Wilson...
Nutty, SXM was talking about how much better Bengals line looked just getting Cordy Glenn back. This is still without injured Jonah Williams of course. But one anchor can make a big difference.

On the other hand, Bills did a Nutty style extreme makeover, 4 out of 5, keeping only Dion Dawkins. They look pretty damn good...coaching ?

...Still lots of time to figure this out.
We do not play modern football.

Yes, Cincinati is much better with Glenn back. They are in a good position. They can keep Glenn and repair the other OT position with Williams. Or they can even replace Glenn with Williams if they want to create cap space or think Glenn can't stay healthy. They have options. And they can protect their new star QB next year.

Buffalo decided to protect the franchise... what a novel idea... no waiting around... action. Maybe it is coaching. If so... act.

          Again.
If You want to help the o line.

Sign free agents Castonzo-OT and Scherff-OG.

          Extend Okung-OT and Pouncey-OC.

Let the Lamp & Feeney compete for the last OG spot.

          Pipkins is the swing tackle.

          Quessenberry back up OC.

The loser of the Lamp & Feeney battle is the back up OG.

You have the money for Castonzo & Scherff.....if you don't pay Rivers & Gordon. Let them retire and leave via free agency. If you trade a couple 1sts & 3rds and Mike Williams. You can get to #1 and draft Burrow.

More importantly, if you want to see the Chargers win the AFC West again. Then you have to go get Burrow and move on from Rivers.
The Chargers are not going to take the AFC West away from Reid and Cheifs with Rivers at QB. Reid has proven he owns Rivers. His team intercepts Rivers multiple times a game nearly every game. Andy is a QB guru and he knows Rivers tendencies and exploits them.

Who has it better than us?

Tillery was a need pick, and w/Russell, and unfortunately @that.... the operative words are "when healthy."

pretty certain that the both of Wirfs/Thomas will be off the board when we select, as guessin' we'll be up in the teens by the time the season ends ??

and agree we need a FA tackle, just not sure who that might be, as have Andrew Whitworth there @least as a placeholder 'til someone better bumps him off, and....

have the rest of the line penciled in as LG Lamp, OC Qberry, RG Feeney, RT Pip

yes 2 Phil and no thank you to MG3, and do think we're gonna take the crown from KC next season in the West....
RT Taliese Fuaga, DT Jer'Zhan Newton, NT T'Vondre Sweat, LB Cedric Gray, TE Ben Sinnott, RB Daijun Edwards, FS Cole Bishop, QB Joe Milton

Then look at BPA in 2nd round... with heavy consideration of center.

I'm not waiting around for players to develop anymore. Rookies start all the time in the NFL... don't make me create a list... that's just a lame excuse. No more excuses. Fail one more time along the OL and TT should get his walking papers.
Was Tillery bpa? I didn't warm up to him until i drank Tom Telesco's koolaid post draft.

Depends on whose available? Brown, Simmons,....awfully enticing.

Some teams can get by drafting offensive linemen on days two or three...Telesco needs help.

If Thomas or Wirfs are available, it's a no brainer...but after that? Both Brown and Simmons look awful damn good...Wills, Jackson, Leatherwood...are they gonna be special enough to pass on those 2 guys? You could maybe pass on Brown(I wouldn't) cuz there might be a pretty good 2 gapper available early 2nd...but Simmons is something else. And then there is the QB question...being spoiled for choices is a bittersweet reality...but hopefully a fresh start next season with the talent we have, a bit of good health, and a few bulls eyes in the draft will get us back in the running...this league sees big turnarounds every year...we did it last year. Hope we can do it again.
                    The TPB makes plans....

Yeah, you don't pass up on special players for meat and potatoes type guys. And you can always trade up from the 2nd round, to get one of the tackles from this deep group.

PFF said the Tillery selection by LAC was perfect. That is not brought up @ TPB.

Apparently, only PFF's Oline grades are to be referenced. opcorn:

you really think Tillery was BPA ?? he was a "need" pick all the way.... we had moved on from Liuget, we had extended our NT which according to some metrics actually had us as a worse D w/him on the field, our replacement player for him was a third rounder who could play the one and three tech and had yet to establish himself as any sort of force on our Dline.

Telesco called him the last player w/a first round grade on their board.... his tag lines post round one draft picks over the years (see MG3) have been @times forgettable.

as Ninj will tell you, he was oft a day two slotted Dline w/big ?s 'round his run D.

right now this board could well be headed for a Fluker 2.0 redux, as the most of 'em here have not put in much study toward this phantom can't miss round one OTprospect…. not sure he exists ??
