Here was my early off-season plan.....

Our QB situation is a complete unknown so I am calculating going QB in 2021. Looks like you are not for extending PR? Is Tyrod adequate?

Retain with new contracts Hunter Henry, Adrian Phillips, Derek Watt, Sean Culkin, and all RFA/ERFA. Agree. I'm surprised you're keeping AP with Simmons drafted @1st round.

    Free Agent market.
OT market quickly gets significantly over priced and our pursuit ends early. This is where I would spend the FA money. Titans probably extend Tannehill. Could outbid Tenn for Conklin or Dennis Kelly.
Sign OC/OG Graham Glasgow. I like Glasgow also. Lions have cap room. May extend Glasgow.
Sign NT Michael Pierce. I like Pierce also. Ravens have cap space to re-sign.
Sign CB Darqueze Dennard. I like Dennard. Bengals have cap space.

    2020 DRAFT........

    1) Isaiah Simmons (OLB) CLEM 6’ 4” 230# I get Simmons. He's the most athletic player in draft. I just don't think he's our biggest PON.

    2) Trey Adams (OT) UW 6’ 8” 314# (assuming all medicals come back clean) His medical history scares me.

    3) Jeff Gladney (CB) TCU 6’ 183# Would be totally happy with this pick.

4A) Ke’Shawn Vaughn (RB) VANDY 5’ 10” 218# Another pick I would be happy with.

4B) Yasir Durant (OT) MIZZOU 6’ 7” 330# Haven't seen enough of Durant. Got any tape links?

    5) Adam Trautman (TE) DAYTON 6’ 6” 256# I'll have to check out.

    6) Josiah Coatney (NT/DT) OLE MISS 6’ 4” 325# I liked what I've seen (limited tape) of Coatney.

    7) Joe Reed (WR/RS) UVA 6’ 1” 215# Very deep WR class this year. Haven't specifically watched Joe Reed this year, but scouted him last year. There are some other WR's in 7th round too.

    Vision Recap....

    ROSTER

    QB = ?, Taylor, Stick
RB = Vaughn, Ekeler, Jackson, Watt
TE = Henry, Trautman, Culkin, Green (Volert)
WR = Slayer, MWill, Reed, Scott, Moore, Cantrell (UDFAs)
IOL = Glasgow, Lamp, Feeney, QBerry, TScott
OT = Adams, Durant, Pipkins, Tevi *

DE/LEO = Bosa, SupaMel, Rochell, Nwosu
DT/NT = Pierce, Jones, Tillery, Coatney
LB = Simmons, White, Tranquil, Perryman, Egbule, Dzubner
CB = Hayward, MDavis, DKing, Gladney, Dennard, Facyson
DS = James, Jenkins, Adderly, Phillips, Teamer

    PK= Badgley
    P = Long
    LS - Mazza

That's a pretty solid roster. Questions @ QB and LT... Mostly, we agree.

Here is my two cents without a lot of thought:

      1. Andrew Thomas / Jedrick Wills (they need a big boy badly - Wills is a dancing bear with well coordinated hands)
      2. Jacob Eason ( i think he'll go in the twenties - just behind Herbert: not necessarily a Lynn choice)
      3. traded to move up & grab Eason

am pretty much ready to remove the both of Wirfs and Simmons from my top six cluster, and.... wouldn't cry 'bout a WR-RB 1-2 punch.

and like Leki Fotu plenty, albeit do think there is some risk by association, and would prefer a draft strategy that drafts less for need and more for surety (if there is such a thing)…. enter Hamsah Nasirildeen round three.

reviews are way too mixed re: Herbert for my comfort level, and def do not want to go fishin' for any maybe OT, i.e. Niang, Leatherwood, etc.

get the Rashaard Lawrence love, and dude is prolly a solid, and.... makes me even more ardent for real NTs, i.e. Danny Shelton and/or Derrick B.

and Critty is Burrows anything more than make believe given that Cincy has inked in the first overall, and.... do believe in make believe, albeit do think that's what it/he is.... done deal as Bengal.

re: Conklin, do have something of a feelgood vibe/feel for the guy, albeit much prefer a one year deal w/Whitworth rather than to tear into a four year deal w/Jack, as who knows what lies ahead post PR ??

and peoples talking 'bout Rivers' replacement as some dictum/directive, albeit who ?? love much about Hurts, albeit again seems more like a need/sentimental pick than something that smacks of a rock solid pick ??

and Nutty.... does anyone have round 3 Orlando Brown value in this draft from your (most esteemed) estimation ??

Walker Little is returning to school, and Trey Adams is a plain and dire injury red alert....

re: Tyrod.... cannot fathom him as our marquis attraction moving into a new stadium ??

and Jedrick Wills ?? how much more is he than Dane Brugler's baby, who am not sure he is that far removed from the shadow of Rob Rang's wingman ?? there are plenty of other pundits who do just as well if not (much) better than Brugler in forecasting/fleshing out the draft.

No idea. Why left a ? currently.

AP would have been resigned prior to draft. AP is a core STer who provides quality defensive depth, leadership, and film breakdown at a very reasonable cost.

              Free Agent market.

All FA signings are speculative at this point. Yours included. Steelers have squat for cap space does that mean we can sign Javon Hargrave?

not biggest PON. BPA. Would be ecstatic if D.Brown was the pick. QB, #1OT, #1CB, or if somehow Young drops would be other options for me.

The lower body flexibility was clear in that game to: might contribute to the disengaging, him not being in the in the right position. Also struggles to go laterally.

Straight ahead he's a monster. He's DJ Fluker with a better back pedal. I don't want Telesco to draft him, given what they would be passing up.

Actually, i looked at someone's mock draft not expecting him to make the first round: it surprised me that they had him going at #4. Was that Brugler?

It wouldn't shock me one bit to see Leatherwood slip to the second...I have seen nothing impressive about him...definitely not a top 10 pick. Wills is the Alabama tackle you want.
                          Agreed to a degree
the athleticism is real but not much after that
Leatherwood in the second would be good value
                          Gimmie Bower Power!!
