Arthur Smith OC Titans - Interviewed With Bolts - Hired by Falcons

I think with all the interviews.. will come deeper discussions and intel gathering. The front page will likely have a lot of similar threads discussing individual coaches etc. And i think i will get behind that instead of trying to funnel it all into one discussion. Every coach needs to be nitpicked and discussed. Thats how we all get smarter. You miss a lot of information when everything is crammed into one huge thread. Every potential coach can have a thread. Lets study these guys.

    Carry on.

    Per Rotoworld
Those who have only been watching from afar will attribute Smith's success to Derrick Henry when the truth is the latter barely eclipsed the 1,000-yard mark in 2018 before Smith took over play-calling duties the following year, engineering one of the league's most explosive play-action attacks with a rejuvenated Ryan Tannehill under center. Henry of course rushed for 2,027 yards this season, the fifth-most in NFL history, while Tannehill scored 40 all-purpose touchdowns and both A.J. Brown (1,075) and Corey Davis (984) surpassed 950 receiving yards. Smith's tenure as Tennessee's offensive coordinator sounds as if it's coming to an end the moment the Titans wrap up their postseason journey.

Titans' Arthur Smith, Bucs' Byron Leftwich among young coaches to watch

Titans OC Arthur Smith: There's a lot of intrigue around the league about Smith, 38, who has gone from relatively unknown tight ends coach to hot head-coaching name in less than two years. His work with Ryan Tannehill, Derrick Henry and Tennessee's offense has impressed. For a guy who grew up with money -- his father is billionaire Fred Smith, who founded FedEx -- Arthur Smith has a blue-collar reputation: humble, hard-working, beloved by players. He paid his dues, spending a decade as a graduate assistant, intern, quality control coach and assistant position coach. If the Titans finish strong, Smith is positioned to be one of the most coveted candidates in January.

I'm guessing Tennessee's o-line is ranked among the top five of all teams. Is that right?

He would probably insist in drafting Olinemen (plural)

Better than a DC...... he will draft OL and 2 big powerful RB's..... to actually have a power running game...... with a play action offense...

Paul Browns also has a team named after him.
