Shocked the Seahawks could actually grade out worse than us.

If you saw their last game against AZ you wouldn't be...Rawls was destroyed, mostly behind the line, it was a disaster

Just highlights what a very enticing HC opportunity the Bolts are...fix the OL and can't see how we miss the playoffs.

It's a sad stat when Fluker is the highest rated PASS blocker on the line lmao

Not surprised to see the Titans at #1.

                31. San Diego Chargers (29)
Top overall grade: C Matt Slauson, 81.2 (No. 19)

                Top pass-blocking grade: RG D.J. Fluker, 75.9 (No. 50)

                Top run-blocking grade: C Matt Slauson, 76.7 (No. 10)

Spare a thought for Philip Rivers, who has to watch the other two big QBs from the 2004 draft class steering playoff-bound teams and contending for a championship while he deals with one of the worst offensive lines in the game. Center Matt Slauson was the best part of this offensive line, and his play was average, at best. This line couldn’t pass protect, surrendering 238 total QB pressures for the second-lowest pass-blocking efficiency mark in the league, and its run blocking was no better. Of 1,510 rushing yards as a team, 906 of them came after contact, with the line generating an average of just 1.5 yards before contact per carry.
Just shows how impressive Gordon was

Slauson was the one saving grace on that line. Can you imagine that offensive line if Chris Watt was still the guy at center?

And moving forward, I can understand why Lynn would want this HC gig.

Fluker actually had a pretty good season. He is turning into a very good OG. I think they need to redo his cap number, but he is worth signing to a long term deal.

Franklin is the guy who should get kicked to the curb.

Barksdale is back to his usual deal, and is not the kind of guy you want as a regular starter.

Slauson is the same kind of guy as Mike GOff was. Good player, tough, but not a great player. It would be nice to upgrade over him, but there is no way we can find that many good starters in the same offseason, so he is going to be a starter for at least another season.

Dunlap is a similar sort of guy, only better than Slauson. He is not a bad OT, but gets a bad rap because playing OT in the AFC west is a pretty tough gig these days. He also is the kind of guy who needs to stay, because he is probably going to be too tough to replace. Not a lot of top flight OT sitting at bus stops.

Too bad it is a shitty draft for OL.

If Tuerk is ready to play, they could move Slauson back to guard in Franklin's place.
