You guys are too high on Rivers. Watch the full Titans game that NFL released a few days ago. Whether you blame it on the o-line or not...

There is such a thing as feeling comfortable with your team including head coach and offensive line. Maybe rivers is over estimating his talent level but for sure I wouldn't mind having him back for $15 mil a year. At $25 mil there are better long term options including getting better every where else on the team with more money to spend on five additional positions. It's a team sport after all.

What do you mean? I am pretty high on Rivers. One of the best Charger to ever wear the Uni. Rivers year last year was a product of a VERY sub-par Oline. My angle is this King. I am saying he will have a far better season this year than last because he gets a top Oline to work with. We all know how good he is with a clean pocket. That's it. He's been money for so long we've been spoiled. He didn't get a ring with us but we were in the running a few times. Or would you rather take QB hell like Cleveland or Miami or even Denver. So many years playing with subpar Oline. Wonder when last time we had a top 5 oline?

Here is Rivers average when we had Reich as OC for the 2014 and 2015 season.

          4,550 yards 30 TDs 15 INTs 93.8 rating.

During those 2 years, we had 17th and 11th ranked pass blocking o-line.

Factor in regression from age, our receiving group being better and our RB being better pass catchers.. Colts having a better run game.. they won’t need Rivers to throw in volume.

Also keep in mind, our top rusher those 2 years had under 650 yards. With the second leading rusher with about 300 yards. Branden Oliver and Gordon rookie year.

Do you want to talk about that game in OAK ?
            17/31 for 207 yards with 3 INTs, QB rate : 57.5
            D. Carr had 98.6
And Gordon rushed for 108 yards !
This is clearly not the Rivers that I knew.

Well now got something solid for an argument. But against Tennessee you don't.

Rivers lack of precision is evident to me.

Colts are a great fit for Rivers. Great OL, good running game, familiarity with HC and young aggressive D. AFC south has a weaker Houston and Tenn to contend with. Should be able to win the Division

AFC south isnt as weak as the AFC west. both those teams made the POs last season and no one would argue that those 2 teams couldnt beat just about anyone in the AFC west. they may be weaker this coming season but they COULD be better as well. Everyone thinks their team is gonna win the SB this time of year.
