Congrat's Musgrove and Go Pads!! Hell, he was 1 HBP away from a Perfect Game. They have been close so many times and were the only team in MLB to have never had a No-No. Texas is like the Pads home away from home. Last year it was where they hit 4 Grand Slams in 4 straight games.

I was born and raised in LA (San Fernando valley, I am a lifelong Dodgers, Kings and Lakers fan along with San Diego/LA Chargers fan) I just like giving Padre fans a hard time. I no not hate the Padres, I am indifferent towards them, same with the Rockies and Diamond Backs. I hate the Giants though.

This is about the Padres guys. Dont use it to share your political thoughts on the MLB. If you want to give Musgrove props do so. No need to add your political jab. Those little nuggets are like bait. And you are trying to put that out there to get a response. Yet you know how i feel about that type of discussion? Thats how it comes off to me.
Props to Musgrove. I actually thought he had a perfect game up until the 7th. I hadnt seen the HBP. lol
His slider was money all night. I knew he was going to be a steal.

Great story for the hometown kid whose father is a lifelong Padres season ticket holder. Not only got his son back home and on his team but got to watch him make Padres history.
unfortunate that San Diego curse has claimed Tatis

Props to the Rangers for playing to win
we shifted often, leaving 3rd base alone
If they wanted to be dicks, they could have bunted that direction for a cheap hit, ruining the no-no
but they decided to play ball, so that deserves some recognition
4 years ago today, Wil Myers hit for the cycle, only the second in franchise history
Matt Kemp will always have a seat at my table for being the first to do so, a year prior..005 Brock Bowers, TE/HB/SR Georgia
.037 Braden Fiske, DT Florida St.
.069 Mike Sainristil, CB Michigan
.105 Brenden Rice, WR USC
.110 Mason McCormick, OG/OC S. Dakota St.
.140 Zak Zinter, OG Michigan
.181 Nehemiah Pritchett, CB Auburn
.225 Ainias Smith, WR Texas A&M
.253 Carson Steele, RB UCLA

That said, it was great to see Musgrove get the no-hitter and almost perfect game. (Glad I am not playing the fantasy team with Musgrove on it this week, though.)

I literally woke up to 4 different texts from Dodger friends/family pointing out how many no-nos they claim (like before the Padres were a franchise) but they all recognize the moment as a real achievement. No doubt I would if the Dodgers had one today.
no hard feelings.
