Your question is a fair one and one I kind of expected. The Clippers moved when I was 16 and after only about 6 yrs in SD, so there wasn't as much equity built up with them and I didn't really have an alternative rooting interest at the time. I def haven't ever been as big of an NBA fan as NFL and MLB, so that's always been a factor. When SD gets a team, I'll obviously be in their corner. So it's kind of a different deal. I've stuck with them through many bad years and an a-hole owner so I've enjoyed the recent relative success. If it's the best they'll ever do, I sure as hell deserved it. LOL

Fair enough. Kind of what I expected, the fine line between love and hate. Its easier to continue to root for a team that moves, like the Clippers, if you're more indifferent and to be fair, they weren't an SD institution like the Chargers were. The Chargers had a 'special' relationship with the city. Its mind boggling that they're playing in a city that doesn't give two shits about them and have gone all in. Still think everyone involved is to blame, but Spanos made the final decision. I'm still not sure how to react, I'm more and more indifferent about the NFL every day, but not being able to pass down the Charger fandom tradition to the kids kind of sucks. Boys entire room is decorated in powder blue and he doesn't want to change it for the world!

Nah, I don't even pay attention to the walls, etc. anymore. Just turned 7, not sure he understands the significance of the team moving from SD to Los Angeles. His cousins are Laker fans so in his mind its, 'LA,? big deal.' Like LT, haha.
