In other words it’s probably 50/50 at best. Oakland could very well lose all three teams. We’re outta here in a couple years anyways.

Turned off the game too early. I thought they were toast. Missed the fireworks.
"Tatis and Myers became the second teammates in history to homer twice in the same postseason game. The others: a couple of guys named Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig, in Game 3 of the 1932 World Series". Wow!
Also this. I'm not a real Padres fan. The reason being is that each year the roster changes so much. Their history is this: Get lucky with a good player and trade him away for 4 potentials. When ONE of them produces, trade him away the next season for 4 more potentials. Been that way each year for over a decade now.
I'm awaiting a core group of names that are retained for more than a season or two. Starting with Tatis, Machado and Myers. At least now the Padres have a chance to retain players and build a roster you are familiar with for years, not one. Haven't had that for what seems like forever.Last edited by Caslon; 10-01-2020, 09:13 PM.
