Congrats Padres fans and as a A’s fan I’m glad they are in the NL because I wouldn’t want to play them in the first round. Same for Tampa Bay in the AL really hoping someone takes them out.

      Good luck.

They’re trying for a place by the water but the nepotism and money grabbing in Oakland is off the charts and now the Sierra Club wants their cut under the guise of environmental justice. They also have the option of redeveloping the Coliseum site.

In other words it’s probably 50/50 at best. Oakland could very well lose all three teams. We’re outta here in a couple years anyways.

And you Pads fans can thank the A’s for absolutely wrecking the Giants and taking 5/6 from them this year.

Good lord the Padres can hit the fucking baseball. Nice win.

Cant believe we beat the White Sox they can rake too. Bullpen was better though. Time for the Trashtros.

Turned off the game too early. I thought they were toast. Missed the fireworks.

"Tatis and Myers became the second teammates in history to homer twice in the same postseason game. The others: a couple of guys named Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig, in Game 3 of the 1932 World Series". Wow!

Also this. I'm not a real Padres fan. The reason being is that each year the roster changes so much. Their history is this: Get lucky with a good player and trade him away for 4 potentials. When ONE of them produces, trade him away the next season for 4 more potentials. Been that way each year for over a decade now.

I'm awaiting a core group of names that are retained for more than a season or two. Starting with Tatis, Machado and Myers. At least now the Padres have a chance to retain players and build a roster you are familiar with for years, not one. Haven't had that for what seems like forever.

Me too. After the Card's put up 2 in the top of the 6th, I figured they were done. Great comeback! I'll be watching tonight!

That was a total heat attack game! Tons of excitement for sure. I hope they can get keep up the homer barrage and stabilize the pitching a bit.

Who would have thought it would have been 1-0 through 6 today? Ha
