Slight update. We have a section for non sports related politics/racism/religion and sports section for it. 2 forums now where this stuff can be discussed to your hearts delight. One for sports....one for non sports.

I did this at my other forum and it worked well.

We've been OK. No kids graduating since they go to a k-12 school. We're 2 years away from colleges. We had a school shooting last year so the kids are still adjusting.

Thought maybe the oldest wasnt quite a senior in HS yet. Had no idea about the shooting. Sorry they had to experience that. Kind of looking forward to the empty nest. lol

No need for me to air my thoughts on those subjects here. Fox news has a discussion area for me to do that on at the bottom of their articles. However, Fox news online is starting to limit how many articles of theirs they will allow any post article discussion on. Not doubt to not fan any more flames that already exist.

Basically, I agree with you but this subject is everywhere. I tuned into NFL network and they were talking about the politics/marching/rioting, etc. - not football.

My son called to check up on me (he's 61) and he ended up talking about this same subject. It's even the topic of many sermons right now.

I hope the chatter dies down soon but more importantly, I hope we all start ignoring peoples race and judge one another as individuals.
