Not to be disrespectful but seeing this thread title on my phone it literally read “Reche Caldwell killed by Mako Shark” and I thought he was killed by a mako shark in the ocean. Regardless sad indeed, 41 is way to young to die.

Second: Whenever I think of Reche, I can only think of when he caught the game tying TD and then beat Jammer for the big catch to set up the game winning FG against us in the infamous '06 playoff meltdown. Just crushed us that day. Very sad. RIP Reche, nobody deserves to go out like that.

BTW-I editied my post, he scored the game tying TD and then beat Jammer for the big catch down the sideline that set up the game winning FG. For some reason I thought that big catch was a TD. I was at the game, probably too many beers to remember that horrible day so clearly!

It was rather painful reliving that complete meltdown.
Now I can spend the next 15 years getting over it...... again!
