Teams still need TE who can block, and Green can still block. Not as well as he used to, but he is still a way above average blocker. The bigger issue is that TE blocking is getting downright awful, and that kills a lot of teams running games. You cannot (consistently) run outside or off-tackle without a TE to block the edge. Henry can do it, although his blocking dropped off some last year too.
A lot will depend on if Parham can develop quickly once he gets on the field. Has some WR traits in terms of athletic ability and hands, but is not a great route runner and not that fast. Lacks the size to be a classic inline TE, and doesn't have the build to develop into an inline guy. However, if we put him in the slot, like we did with Winslow/Holohan/Gates and let him challenge defenses down the seam, where his long stride let him get downfield faster than his stopwatch speed would suggest, he can be a weapon to open things up underneath, and attack the goalline with jump balls.

Keenan Allen missed 25 games his first four years, Hunter Henry has missed 23. It is all relative because no one is calling KA injury prone at this point in his career. Owners always take risks signing players and I feel the only reason Henry didn't get signed is that Spanos has a fear the cap is going to nosedive due to COVID-19.

HH is currently the highest salaried TE in the NFL. He has an excellent percentage of catching passes over the middle of the field. However, that was with Rivers at QB. If the genius's at OC can halfway duplicate that with TT under center, minus PR, then...? The tag is well warranted, given last years stats. That was last year tho.
