OT: My first NFL game

As a long time member of TheNFLForum and a long time lurker over here (as I have been too busy to post for the most part) I wanted to share my excitement with the forum.

Tomorrow I will be attending the Miami-San Diego game in person!

I am absolutely stoked! The closest thing to a professional sports game I have ever attended was a Red Sox game (I am from Mass) that got rained out when I was about 7. My sister surprised my father (long time Chargers fan) and myself with tickets last night when we can down to Florida to visit her!

While I always wanted to go to San Diego to watch the Chargers play I guess I'll take what I can get! I'll be repping the Bolts in my custom 'Vermette' '33' away jersey while my dad is wearing his Tomlinson new school away jersey.


In all, there really is no point in this thread, I am just too excited to not share with fans of the same team I am a fan of!

Congrats to you. I remember my first baseball game (when I like baseball ) and that was super exciting for me. Hopefully your presence there will have a positive influence on what is shaping up to be just another losing effort. Credit will definitely go to you if we pull an upset.

Have a great time! An NFL game is a whole different experience in person than on TV. My advice, spend some time watching the things you can't see on TV like both sidelines, the coaches and players interactions, the defensive backfields and the kickoff teams flying down the field. So many awesome things in the game of football that for whatever reason the network folks don't thing we should watch. Have a great time and Go Chargers!

Awesome post! Congrats! Since we will be winning or ahead the entire game, make sure you cheer towards the field and respect the home teams abode! Most opposing fans that run into issues often celebrate by cheering looking behind them... often that is geared towards the idiot behind you that has been gIving you crap or throwing shit at you!

Jacksonville was the worst opposing fan experience I have had. Even worse than the LA Colliseum for Raider games.
Haven't been to Miami, but it's still FLA and I have played "Germany Or Florida?" before...
