Maybe it's just us getting old. I don't get face tattoos either but I'm sure my youngest son will have one by the time he's 15

I hear you. I don't get the tattoo thing and I don't get the piercings. Went to lunch at a winery with my wife and some friends a few weekends ago and our waitress had her gum pierced above her front teeth. It was hideous, but she sure was proud of it.

I was a rebellious kid and my girlfriend, now wife, had a piercing gun. So I had(edit) holes all over my face and ears. But I don't have a single tattoo which most of my friends from HS are shocked about.

But my 5 year old is the most rebellious person I've ever met

Decades ago, gold teeth were a person's burial insurance. When the person died, the family sold the gold in their mouth to help pay for the funeral & burial.

Now it's all just to flaunt how much money someone has.
