    I really loved his show San Diego at Large when I was a kid. Larry seemed like a really great guy. Didn't know him, but he clearly touched a lot of people.

    I knew Loren, and can attest that he is as good of a guy as portrayed.

      Man SD keeps taking the hits .... Junior, Tony, Jerry Coleman. Larry's reporting during the fires was just amazing.

        Cancer runs in my family and scares me to death. Up close, it's so much worse than you know. So I hate to hear of anybody catching it.

        RIP Larry and Loren, both good guys who lived a life they could be proud of.
