Obscure to greatness Charger Mt Rushmore

Keeping in the spirit of the other two threads, list your 4 Chargers who were either late round draft picks or unknown UDFAs who turned out great. Here's mine

    Gates, Dielman, Harrison, Woodrowe Lowe

Honorable mention: Darren Bennett (tough to put a punter up there)

Like, how am I a traitor? Your team are traitors.

Cooper, Wes Welker, Wesley Britt, Camareo, saved a perfect season, and...

Cleo Lemon! Just kidding, Trent Green.

Nice thread! In the modern era (Air Coryell to present), my votes go to:

          P Mike Scifres (Rd. 5)
QB Trent Green (our Rd.8 pick in '93 effective starter for Wash and KC)
RB Marion Butts (Rd. 7 pick in '89 who gained over 5100 yards in 6 seasons)
RB Earnest Jackson (Rd.8 in '83 who gained over 4000 yards in 5 seasons)

          1960s to 70s bargain picks:

C Sam Gruneisen (200th selection in '62 and started most of his 12 seasons)
TE Jacques McKinnon (33rd Rd. in '62 and played for 10 years, mostly in SD)
DE Charles DeJurnett (17th Rd. pick in '76. Played for 10 seasons and also an excellent DL coach)
RB Don Woods (I believe a waiver wire pickup from GB in 70s who had a great start to his career cut short by injury).
