The sad part is it is a no lose situation. No trade to give up and money that the team has available. With Herbert, getting Bell is a statement in LA saying we are not surrendering the city to the Rams. It would be bold. If he sucks nothing really hurt and he is gone after the season.

He was harassed all night and still made plays. Bell would get cranked behind this OL.

This team misses Gordon. Neither Ekeler, nor Jackson nor Kelley is as punishing a runner as Gordon is. Bell would bring that back to the offense, but he's also a cancer. So I have to say pass.

There’s no OL to address in week 5 of the season. But there is a stud running back available and the Jets are paying him. We didn’t grab Kareem Hunt because he wasn’t a choir boy and we could sure use him now. The raiders used to build their team with other teams cast offs and cancers back in their hey day. Now Belichick does it and I bet he grabs him stat.

You give this kid time and he will make average players look great.

TT is managing our cap better and making good draft decisions at defense. Bosa, Derwin and Murray are a good foundation, more so than Tak McKinley, Deion Jones and Keanu Neal.
We will make do with JJ/Kelley until Ek comes back. Bell is cancerous.Get comfortable with being uncomfortable.

Obviously O-line would be even better, but who is available on the O-line. Nobody
I'm' not saying bring in Bell on a long contract, so the cancer thing doesn't matter. Just remainder of the year to fill in for Ekeler.
That would have zero effect on our long turn salary cap.
Bell running behind our line isn't the answer, it is his ability to take dump off passes to save Herbert when he is getting pressure. Plus he would bring us a legit screen game.
Doesn't matter what I think anyway, the Chargers will just do the same no risk thing and hold pat anyway.
