    LAC VS JAX Pregame Discussion

It’s going to be a long two weeks for me ending on our fourth loss in a row.
Lot’s of emotions and debate about Lynn and our future.
We should get some guys back in time for a very winnable home game against the Jags.

I know many of you are beyond done with Lynn that you may not even look forward to wins, and instead prefer better draft positioning and a better chance at a better coach.
I am not on that boat (just yet)

It’s a unique season (to say the least) and Mahomes can contract CV tomorrow and the AFCW is wide open.
a little luck and we’re in the big game.

Speaking to my fellow Lynn detractors
What I want to know from you is...
Besides wins, what do you (realistically) need to see from Lynn to regain some faith back?

Speaking for myself, I need to see a competitive second half where it’s not glaringly obvious that JH isn’t bailing us out from poor adjustments. If we have a big lead we need to end with a significant lead. If we’re tied at the half I need to see us close out a game like the better team (especially against the Jags)
second thing is that I need to see some fire. That first offensive drive against the Saints looked like guys were playing at a funeral. Low energy and uninterested. I didn’t see any excitement until Herby started throwing darts.

    Speaking to the Lynn supporters
What do you need to see from this team to begin to accept that Lynn is not the right choice for us moving forward? I would say besides Ls, but apparently that’s okay (I’m kidding, I’m kidding).

Let’s try to keep these realistic and applicable to the Jags game.

    TIA

.037 Braden Fiske, DT Florida St.

I need Lynn to do the following

    1. Team needs to come out ready and get lead from jump
    2.. Make 2nd half adjustments
    2. Be vocal with his OC & DC be agressive and smart no more of this conservative crap we got the lead
    3. Joe Reed needs to be active gameday unless he is injured

I don't have much problem with the offensive playcalling. I do hate how the D collapses every game. So Id like to see them shelf the bend and bend some more D concepts.
Now, if you excuse me, I have some Charger memories to suppress.

I think Gus knows he's the next sacrificial lamb in line so he's going to do anything Lynn asks.

This really depends on who gets healthy during the bye. Guys playing hurt like Bosa get some RnR, but who do we get back??? I'd love to see Bulaga and Turner show up and stay awhile. Melvin too.

I can’t wait for this game. JH needs to get his first W to get the big monkey off his back. This guy works so hard he deserves it. It is unfortunate the money badger blew it twice against NO.

It was hard to watch Bosa against NO. You can tell he was playing hurt. Hopefully the bye week helps.

As for me I am not a Lynn fan but would have liked to see what he could have done in these games without missing half of his starters. For what I would like to see from him is win the games we are expected to win and do so in a dominant fashion. Don't ease up and get real conservative on offense...go for the throat and don't let go! The same thing would also apply to any games we get up in double digits like the last few. Can't let up.

As for the D, I think he has to give some direction to the D to be more aggressive in some situations. He is the head coach and in the end his assistants all answer to him.

did you notice JHs face didn't twist like Burrow's did week 1 after a failed kick?

no doubt Lynn is feeling a hot seat.
so this bye week is critical in terms of making changes and it starts with ordering Gus to maintain aggressive approach through the second half.
it's a risk no doubt, but imo you'll end up with more wins at the cost of a few really bad loses (giving up 30 plus)

I also think Pep might be an under-utilized resource.
an under-rated trait of Belecheat is that he listens to his coordinators and position coaches (from what I hear)
the misconception is that he is the end-all be-all, but really, he depends on his guys to give hi ideas and insights into the dynamics brewing in the locker room, hidden strengths etc
then he steals them and takes credit haha
Lynn talked about organizational health upon being hired
part of that is communication effectiveness and transparency
Pep and Campen in particular have earned a place in Lynns ear
maybe it's just wishful thinking, but maybe they have some direction changing input

He is the complete opposite of Phil and Rivers got a little too amped sometimes.

Yeah dude has a calm demeanor and I think he is going to be a guy as time passes he will be that clutch QB in 4th quarter 2 minutes or less left in the game he will get us the victory when we have to come back
