He reminds me of Elway with his ability to throw accurately on the run with velocity. He really has a cannon, makes throws that DB's do not think can be made so they slack off a bit much like they did with Elway. And he runs like Elway, he is not like Jackson as a runner but is very unassuming as like the defense does not expect him to be so fast for a big guy.
Very happy with him, we have ourselves a football player!
I'm with ya. I don't recall anyone in the NFL being 6'6, a cannon for an arm, mobile, poised. The kid is unique. However pre-draft I was saying I don't want him. I wanted Lawrence in the next draft. They are already talking about this kid. #1 pick without a doubt.
So I believe Justin and Trevor are going raise the bar for NFL.

I would say he's a hybrid between Elway and Bret Farve.... why Farve? Because he's got that mindset of backyard baller who says hike me that dam ball I'll make something happen if the whole defense is still coming down on me!

I think Trevor Lawrence is the closest comparison, but that Lawrence is even better if you can imagine that--better runner, better arm.

A young Elway is the best comparison I've heard yet. Not sure on the Farve comparison. As far as how he carries himself, a quiet and confident demeanor like Montana.
