Popper seems to think if Bradley is let go that Milus would be a candidate to be DC. But I do like your name of Teryl Austin as DC if Lynn is still HC. I am not sure if Burns is the long term fix on ST but I guess he has six games to show if he can improve them

He also has a history with the guy who I want to be coach if Lynn is let go.. - was DC with Jim Caldwell in Detroit. Did interview with the Bolts a few years ago. Really good name -

I don't think the Pats defenses under Patricia were all that great. But if the new HC hires him - I am sure he will be prepared.

My leader for next head coach, if he is willing, and wants it , health wise is Jim Caldwell

He had a record of 36-28 in Detroit - so thats 9-7 per year
26-22 in Indy but that includes Mannings year where he got hurt 2-14
Take that out and he was 24-8
thats not bad

You see Rivera with the WFT - they will get better with him over time as head coach
I truly think thats what the Chargers need a- just a solid NFL professional coach. That also includes Wade Phillips if he was up for the job.

I think it was Ghost who mentioned Wade Phillips - I like that idea more and more. I know the defense will be solid
Problem is - the Chargers are better with a 4-3 for Bosa. He is not a 3-4 DE.

How about a guy like Robert Saleh for head coach - though Detroit might want him. He could bring McDaniels (not Josh, the 49ers QB coach) as his OC.
