It is the easiest course of action. It requires zero action for the Spanos. It just requires the fans and the franchise to lower the bar even further.

John & Dean already took that route when they refused to act on Anthony Lynn during the 2020 season. This is their M.O. They take the least controversial and easiest steps for themselves. Because as long as they own the Chargers, they have a license to print money.

I already vowed to not to buy Charger merchandise or tickets in L.A.

This team has lost 21 of it's last 29 games. And it's decided to stand pat? And they expect me to stay? Are they kidding?

        Go Bolts!!!
Lynn hates taking chances attacking defenses. Gus hates taking chances attacking QBs. Special teams hates attacking field goal posts.....in between posts that is.

4 years to fix ST should be enough reason that maybe he is a nice guy, good in teh building and respected but not the right HEAD coach.

Only one trait I find valuable anymore.

Winning football games....especially when it counts!

I've seen everything else, just show me the money for once.

End of the day - if you keep Lynn - you need to make sure he has a better coaching staff around him
                new DC
                new ST
new analytics person to help him with data on going for it on 4th down, going for two, etc

This way of thinking means everyone but Lynn has been the main reason we have been one of the worst teams in the league for 3 years now! I'm not buying that, Lynn needs to move on. . . A victory over the resting Chiefs means nothing.

last two years.....and I don't think they are among the group of worst teams....the 0 - 45 home drubbing at the hands of Belichick aside.

We’re not one of the worst, which is part of the frustration.

We need Air Coryell, IMO. Or Sean Payton, whatever, a modern version of course.

Knows football. Integrity, not a disciplinarian. I think because of Charger culture we do need an offensively aggressive coach - might not be ideal for a Bears franchise, but we’re not da bears and don’t think we should try to be. Someone like Belichick comes magically available, that’s fine of course but short of something like that, an offense oriented guy**. NOT, for instance, Bieniemy - someone who’s masterminded an offense and developed a philosophy.

** - ps, not saying Belichick doesn’t know offense, he knows pretty much everything it seems.
